Christophe Levent of Le Parisien calls the transformed Musée, Casson Mann's latest project, "a real metamorphosis".

"Brand new, completely beautiful, the Marine Museum at Trocadéro (Paris 16th arrondissement) reopens its doors."

"While the historic collections are still there, the architecture and scenography have been redesigned, and digital and immersive displays added, to make the place a "museum for the 21st century". It doesn't take long to realise what a success this is."

"The vast hall, white and wood, all curves and lit by a glass roof, makes you want to get on board. The open bow of a ship awaits you. Inside, a giant, enveloping screen plunges you into the deep end: as if you were on a boat, in the middle of a storm."

"In addition to the historical exhibits, new technologies have also been put to good use for the other exhibits, such as "Tempêtes et naufrages"(Storms and shipwrecks). The most spectacular installation is the 10-metre-high "Wave", which puts visitors in a lifeboat in the middle of a storm. Another attraction that's sure to be a big hit is a simulation game that lets you take off from an aircraft carrier at the controls of a Rafale..."

"On two floors, and even three thanks to the new mezzanines, visitors can move from the past to the present in a rich and varied tour."
