Dynamic and tactile, Casson Mann’s Endeavour Galleries transformed the National Maritime Museum’s relationship with audiences. Opened in 2018 to mark the 250th Anniversary of Cook’s 1768 Endeavour voyage, each gallery has a compelling narrative: Pacific Encounters, Polar Worlds, Tudor and Stuart Seafarers and Sea Things. Each has a distinct design environment, expressed through lighting, materials, multimedia and sound. Visitors are immersed in the original stories, artefacts and images that chart the legacy of exploration from the Pacific to the polar regions.
